Post-Epiphany hard show @DarKHouse

Hello my piggies :-) Holidays are over and we've just found ourselves fatter and uglier than ever I guess :-) So, we need to fall back into old habits now and have so much sex that we could get rid of all the fat we got by now :-P
Thus, I'm going to wait for you all @DarKHouse, viale del Lavoro 39/A, S.Martino Buon Albergo (Verona, IT), tomorrow, Jan.7th, from 11pm in order to get fit together... somehow ;-)

Saturnalia @DarKHouse

Hello my free men! Next Saturday, Dec.17th marks the beginning of Saturnalia, probably the best-known ancient Roman festivity in honour of agricultural deity Saturn. Actually, the date 17 December was the first date of the astrological sign Capricorn, the house of Saturn, the planet named for the god.
Saturnalia started on Dec.17th and closed on Dec.23rd (in Julian Calendar), the Dies Natali Solis Invicti (the "Birthday of the Unconquerable Sun"), celebrating the Winter Solstice as the Day of Light, according to one interpretation to Macrobius' Saturnalia which looks at this as the exposition of solar monotheism (Sol Invictus). In fact, these celebrations continued during the Roman Empire influencing Christianism and leading to the concept of Christmas and New Year as well as gift-giving at the Sigillaria (wax-figurines/candles event) from Dec.19th on would have paved the way to modern Christmas gift-giving.
Saturnalia were important to ancient Romans because they felt free to overturn socio-political rules: in fact, during this holiday schools were closed, exercise regimens and trials were suspended and no declaration of war could be made. Plus, Saturnalian license also permitted slaves to disrispect their masters without the threat of punishment: free speech was available and Horace called it "December liberty". Slaves were put at the same level of freedmen and women were time by time freer in partecipating to banquets (convivia) and having role-playing by wearing masks or "guising", as in a theatrical event.
According to Neoplatonical philosopher Porphyry, Saturnalia allegorically stand for the festival of dissolution and liberation, implying the "freeing of souls into immortality", an interpretation likely followed by Mithraists as well, since they included many slaves and freedmen.
Against this backdrop, I want to set my next live show as a show of dissolution and liberation of socially-bounded souls @DarKHouse, viale del Lavoro 39/A, S.Martino Buon Albergo, Verona (Italy), next Dec.17th from 11pm: let's welcome god Saturn and wait for the Sol Invictus. :-)

Eros & Thanatos in Veneto

Hello my bipolar followers :-P Halloween in upon us and I am ready to put on two different live shows in the Italian region of Veneto: Eros & Thanatos. In Greek mythology, Thanatos is the embodiment of Death and it'll be displayed @Officina, Via Alessandro Volta 1, Lìmena (Padova) on Oct.28th from 11pm; Eros stands for Love, instead: it'll be generously given @DarkHouse, Viale del Lavoro 39/A, San Martino Buon Albergo (Verona) on Oct.29th from 11pm. By the way, in psychoanalysis, Eros and Thanatos are two mental opposed drives: the former leads to destruction in contrast to the latter which is the sensual vitality. So, save the dates and have a scary and sexy Pre-Halloween experience with me ;-)

Jack the Ripper @DarKHouse

Hello my victimes :-) on the wave of my personal latest records, such as my 30th live performance in a single club and my 200th post in this blog, next Friday, Sep.30th is a special date for my professional career: in fact, from 11pm I personally celebrate my 100th live show @DarkHouse, viale del Lavoro 39/A int.16 in San Martino Buon Albergo (East Verona), just when in 1888 Jack the Ripper killed his 3rd and 4th canonical victimes of five in East-End London district of Whitechapel (though more than a hundred are allegedly linked to him): it dealt with Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes.
Stride's body was discovered at about 1 a.m. in Dutfield's Yard, off Berner Street (now Henriques Street). The cause of death was one clear-cut incision which severed the main artery on the left side of the neck. The absence of mutilations to the abdomen has led to uncertainty about whether Stride's murder should be attributed to the Ripper or whether he was interrupted during the attack. Witnesses thought that they saw Stride with a man earlier that night but gave differing descriptions: some said that her companion was fair, others dark; some said that he was shabbily dressed, others well-dressed. Eddowes' body, instead, was found in Mitre Square in the City of London, three-quarters of an hour after Stride's. The throat was severed and the abdomen was ripped open by a long, deep, jagged wound. The left kidney and the major part of the uterus had been removed. A local man named Joseph Lawende had passed through the square with two friends shortly before the murder, and he described seeing a fair-haired man of shabby appearance with a woman who may have been Eddowes. His companions were unable to confirm his description. Eddowes' and Stride's murders were later called the "double event" (Wikipedia).
A double event actually is this as I celebrate the mysterious figure of Jack the Ripper and my 100th live show: so, don't miss it! :-)

Don't cry for me, Argentina @DarKHouse

"Don't cry for me, Argentina
The truth is I never left you
All through my wild days
My mad existence
I kept my promise
Don't keep your distance"

Hello Argentinians and not! Next Saturday, July 9th is the 200th anniversay of Argentine Declaration of Indipendence from Spain (July 9th, 1816). The First Lady Eva (Evita) Peròn, President Juan Peròn's second wife, sang this song from the balcony of the Casa Rosada (The Pink House, the executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina), the day when his husband was elected President (October 17th, 1945); thus, Evita, the symbol of charity, embodies the spirit of Argentina and the care for orphans and homeless women, according to the policy of the Foundation which bears her name.
Anyway, we'r gonna meet up on July 9th from 10pm to celebrate together the 200th anniversary of Argentina as an indipendent nation @DarkHouse, viale del Lavoro 39/A, San Martino Buon Albergo, Verona (Italy).

Alpha waves @DarKHouse

Hello my dick-sick followers! :-P Next Saturday, May 20th is the 143rd anniversary of Hans Berger's birth, the inventor of the electroencephalografy (1924), the recording of "brain waves", whose the German psychiatrist is the discoverer of the Alpha Waves (aka Berger's waves).
It deals with one type of brain waves detected either by electroencephalography (EEG) or magnetoencephalography (MEG) and predominantly originate from the occipital lobe during wakeful relaxation with closed eyes. Alpha waves are reduced with open eyes, drowsiness and sleep. Occipital ones during periods of eyes closed are the strongest EEG brain signals (Wikipedia).
Twist of fate, in the very early post I promoted the Blue Jeans anniversary which were invented in 1783, and Hans Berger was born just in 1783 LOL: so, the day before Berger was born, in the opposite part of the world Levi Strauss (who originally was German too) & co. got their patent.
Thus, I am going to wait for you all on May 21st 2016 from 11pm @DarkHouse, viale del Lavoro 39/A, San Martino Buon Albergo - Verona (Italy) to get ANALyzed by me and my medical equipment :-P

The Dark Side of Wojtyła @DarKHouse

Greetings, diabolic souls! :) Next Friday, April 8th from 11pm for my first time I'm gonna be performing live @DarkHouse, Viale del Lavoro 39/A, San Martino Buon Albergo (VR). It deals with a new-born gay sex club very close to Verona, the city of Romeo+Juliet's love! My first live show there falls on the day of the 11th anniversary of Pope John Paul II's funeral, a controversial religious figure, who was elected saint in 2014 by Pope Francis despite his several dark sides, such as his sexual conservatorism, dictator Pinochet's support, front for pedophilia cases, Mafia money invested into IOR Vatican Bank and adopted to finance Polish anti-communist trade union, etc.. Against this backdrop, the death of Pope Wojtyła takes on a deeper meaning and deserves to be displayed how it actually was supposed to happen.
